1. Reach agreement as a group on a one-sentence definition of the underlying problem. Be sure it is a problem and not a symptom.
2. Decide on whether or not a creative problem solving approach is required and explain the rationale behind your decision.
3. Develop a list of 5 alternative solutions for the Director, and describe if you acted as a cohesive group or as individuals.
